Story Time Kicks off Tuesday, September 18th

Eccles-Lesher Memorial Library would like to welcome children that are newborns to school age children to our program, which is Story Time.  The program will begin on Tuesday, September 18th at 1:00pm.  The program will run roughly a half hour. During that time the children will hear a book and we will talk about the book afterwards.  The program will be run between the Library Director, Rachel Campbell and Assistant Librarian, Lesa Byers.  Please bring as many friends as you wish.  It is a free program and I am sure it will be a great year.  If you have any questions about the program please contact the library at 814-473-3800.

If you have a nook or a kindle you can get books for on those devices as of Friday, September 7, 2012.  All you need is a library card.  If you do not have a library card, please stop in at our library to get your card today.  If you are a non-resident of our district you can still get a card for a $25.00 donation.  You can check out these e-books right from your home.

Future Artists of Rimersburg








The children draw pictures on our windows here at the library to salute our local veterans.  Since this years, Cookie Daze was called Salute your Veterans.  Voting was taking place over the weekend of Cookie Daze.  The winner of the contest, will receive a Daffin's Candy bar and three free movie rentals here at the library.  The winner of this months contest is ALANNA BYERS.  
The other children in this picture is Hunter Troyan (blue shirt) and Curtis Troyan.  
We would like to say thank you all for coming to Future Artists of Rimersburg! Hope to see everyone again on September 1st.

New Spring Children's Programs

Baby & Me Programs will be held on every other Monday at 11:00am on February 20, March 5, March 19, April 2, and April 16. This is when you can bring your baby in to hear a little story and clap and bounce for 15 minutes.

Terrific Tales 4 Toddlers will be held on every other Tuesdays at 11:00am on February 21, March 6, March 20, April 3, and April 17. This is when you can bring your toddler in to hear a rhyme, story and a movement activity.

Game-o-rama is for teenagers. This is held on every Thursday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.

Movies @ the Library will be held February 18th with the movie "Free Willy", On March 17th with the movie, "Horton hears a who", and April 21st with the movie, "Alvin and the Chipmunks". All ages are welcome.
